Commercial Roofing

At Hertless Brothers, we realize bringing our clients the roofing products and services that best meet their specific needs requires a unique approach. A strategic approach. One that is flexible and focused on finding the best roofing solutions for each customer’s situation. Before we do the work we ask the questions and listen closely to your answers to help us make certain that what we propose is exactly what you need. This allows us to achieve more; to exceed customers’ expectations.

Replacement

Beyond providing the best roofing solution, we take the time to thoroughly evaluate all critical factors involving a replacement project. We understand that planning ensures that our services are provided in the most professional and least intrusive way, benefiting both the building owner and its occupants. At Hertless Brothers, we’re committed to using our expertise and experience to deliver exceptional results through a roof replacement process that’s comfortable for each client’s situation

Listing of Replacement Services

Complete Tear Off: A complete tear off includes removing all of your existing roof (s) down to your existing roof deck and then installing a new roof assembly (insulation and membrane)

Partial Tear Off: In accordance with the current building code, your facility cannot have more than two (2) layers of roof installed at one (1) time. If your property has two (2) roofs currently installed, it may be possible for us to remove only the top roof and install a new roof system in its place. Our seasoned staff will be able to assess your facility and determine if this is possible.

Recovery: If your facility has only one (1) roof system in place, it may be possible to simply install a new roof system over top of the existing roof. Hertless Brothers personnel are trained and knowledgeable in determining the feasibility of this option.

Repair

For us, roof repair is all about being available to be there when you need us the most. Our team takes pride in providing commercial customers immediate service support. Whatever the size, scope or budget, our goal for every repair job is to find the source of the problem and fix it using a solution that delivers long-term results. Through working harder to meet our clients’ repair needs, our team has built long-standing relationships with property owners and building mangers. They trust us to get the job done, quickly and correctly. That trust drives us to achieve more for customers.

Three Quick Suggestions for Dealing with a Roof Leak:

Be Prepared: Develop a Roof Contact Sheet for you and your staff. Include on this sheet the phone number for your roofing contractor, the manufacturer of your roofing system, the type of roof system you have, and any warranty numbers you may have. Also include your facility address and any specific contact information you want the responding contractor to have.

Be Specific: When calling in your roof leak, be as specific as possible in describing the location and nature of the leak (slow drip, waterfall, etc…) This will allow your contractor to be better prepared to respond.

Protect: Just because the rain has subsided or the leak “appears” to have stopped, does not mean it will not happen again. Move important electronics, furniture or product out of the way and cover them until your contractor has responded and informed you the issue has been resolved. Place some type of collection device below the area of the leak to prevent water from getting on carpets or running on smooth floors and creating a slip hazard.

Maintenance

Not all roof damage is apparent. A roof can suffer water infiltration without occupants ever knowing. When this occurs over several years, it can lead to extensive repair needs, sometimes causing a roof to have to be replaced. So how do you protect your investment? The best answer to that question is to conduct proper maintenance on an annual basis. Through our maintenance program, we identify and address problems or potential issues early, helping clients extend their roof’s life expectancy and avoid serious repair surprises.

Inspection

What is the condition of your building’s roof? For an owner or potential buyer, knowing this is essential. An investment the size of a commercial roof system requires regular inspections and periodic maintenance to achieve a long-term service life. Along with helping owners avoid letting small repair needs grow into severe roof damage, an inspection provides valuable documentation on the roof’s maintenance record and current condition. Having access to these records can save a contractor valuable time (and building owners serious money) when evaluating the need for future repair or replacement work. At Hertless Brothers, we conduct an extensive inspection process that includes doing the necessary research to fully understand the customer’s history with the building and the particular roofing system being inspected. The more we know, the more we can do to provide our clients a complete inspection that they can fully trust.
